Beringia National Park

Beringia was established in 2013 and is the largest national park in Russia. The entire area spans almost twelve thousand square miles and was established as a national park in 2013. The park is located along the Chukotka Peninsula. The climate is not the great for tourism. The long, harsh winters are sub-artic, and the summers are short and cool. Most of the terrain that covers the park is highland tundra with elevations as high as twelve thousand meters. There is so much diversity among the wildlife and as well. The park is home to polar bears, big-horned sheep, and the Pacific walrus. Unfortunately, all of these magnificent creatures are in extreme danger due climatic change in this Arctic region.
